We’ve done it again!!

A big thanks to all those who took part in this year’s successful event, we did a total of 27hrs in the water and had 52 divers taking part with most carrying out at least two 30min dive slots over the event. The 27hrs were carried out totally unbroken with at least two divers in the water during the event. Last year it rained most of the time during the event so this year we decided to carry out the event a bit earlier to take advantage of the better weather, as usual the great Scottish weather didn’t let us down as it rained heavily and was blowing a gale for most of Saturday, thankfully things cleared up early on the Sunday morning and we were rewarded with a great day on Sunday.

In keeping with last year we set up an under water course which kept the divers occupied during their slots, this year we also set up an underwater camera feeding live pictures to the surface which kept everyone amused! All divers were kept fully nourished by the owners of the tearooms who again stayed open all night.
